That one goes along with the first one about people being happy. I think some people think about it more than they feel about it.

Re: Top 10 Lessons of 2013

Hi J.J. I really resonated with the one about most people intellectualizing their feelings and not experiencing them. I thought maybe I should research more about Steve Jobs but my assessment would have still been the same about the emotionally toxicity based on what you are saying and what I saw on a documentary. It's not to discredit him because he has done amazing things but it's to humanize him like you said. Glad you enjoyed it and super thrilled to have your comment. Thanks Jennifer! :)

Re: Are you physically or emotionally toxic?

This was a very good article, J.J. Kudos for being brave to address a topic that many people like to ignore. I just want to add one more point. Contrary to the myth that the media dispelled about Steve Jobs in an attempt to discredit alternative treatments, he did NOT just rely on alternative treatments to cure his cancer. In fact, originally, he did conventional treatments but in a last-ditch effort, towards the end of his days, he turned to herbs but it was already too late. Many people falsely believe that herbs can cure cancer but they don't. Herbs are a preventative measure to keep you from getting cancer only, once you develop the disease, it's too late to take herbs! David Wolfe has several videos on the topic as he was questioned about this after the death of Steve Jobs. You can search his site for them if you want to learn more.
One more point about Steve Jobs. You are absolutely right to assert that Steve Jobs had a lot of toxic emotions that he never dealt with in a healthy manner in his lifetime. Steve Jobs was well-known for his tremendous ego by those close to him and those who had to work for him. He once invited Bill Gates to his office and made him wait 2 hours, just to show him who was boss. Steve Jobs was a bit of an A-hole at times. I have personally met and talked to several Apple employees who were lucky enough to have met and worked with him when he was alive and they all attested to the fact that while he was inspirational and a big motivator, he was also difficult and moody to deal with at times. They also agree, that he wasn't evil nor ever the tyrant, but he certainly wasn't the "perfect idol" the public and the media likes to make him out to be. At the end of the day, Steve Jobs was just as human and imperfect as all of us.

Re: Benefits and Dangers of a Raw Food Diet

Absolutely.
